Counseling, Psychotherapy, Supervision Research,
and Education Services

The Counseling, Psychotherapy, Supervision, Research and Education/Training Center “Psychonisida” provides services aimed at supporting and restoring healthy human thought and action. These services are in line with the main pillars of the Center’s activities, which are three: the responsible and efficient provision of services in the field of mental health, conducting research and training of mental health professionals in matters of psychotherapy, cognitive processing and mental rehabilitation, and raising the awareness of all on issues and challenges that arise in the current daily life, through a series of social actions.

Indicatively, the services provided by the Center are the following:

Counseling and support of individuals, couples, groups (professionals, educators) in matters of communication, relationships, occupation and generally interaction in daily practice.

Psychotherapy (pre-adolescents, adolescents, adults), individual, group, family and in couples, with the aim of addressing emotional difficulties, mental and physical dysfunctions, impasses and questions of individuals, in order to create or recreate the conditions for their cognitive-emotional empowerment and further development.

Diagnosis (pre-adolescents, adolescents, and adults) using special psychometric tools and cognitive batteries (detection and evaluation) to enhance the counseling/treatment process.

Supervision, with special emphasis on the educational (individual, group) supervisory relationship, as a key tool for the development, support and quality assurance of Education, Psychoeducation, Counseling, Psychotherapy and Rehabilitation by specialists and trainees in these fields.

Psychoeducation of individuals, families, patients, and caregivers, so that ‘the person being supported’ gains knowledge of the condition he/she is experiencing, the factors that are inextricably linked to their condition, as well as how they can contribute to its management. Psychoeducation is based on techniques and tools that stem from a variety of scientific approaches, such as: Marte Meo (Counseling and Psychoeducation Program/Technique), CBT (Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy), MI (Motivational Interviewing) and the Use of various Art Forms.

Coaching adults and professionals, with the aim of encouraging ‘persons being supported’ to focus on the present and the future, taking steps that will bring them closer to achieving their goals.

Education/Training of specialists in the field of mental health, with the aim of strengthening their training for more effective support of themselves as professionals and their ‘persons being supported’. The training focuses mainly on Marte Meo Counseling and Psychoeducation Technique (obtaining the title of ‘Marte Meo Practitioner’), Clinical Workshops, Clinical Group Labs focusing on sources and case studies processing and experiential and practical Seminars.
